Our engineering services range from performing initial impact studies, power system studies, developing interconnection one line diagrams, assisting stakeholders with Interconnect Service Agreements, specifying medium voltage distribution and protection & control equipment, constructability reviews (AC & DC), code compliance reviews, development of plans and specifications from conceptual to as built drawing packages, development of utility witness test plans and development of relay/RTU setting and program files.

In addition to the engineering services AET’s Field Service Engineers can provide acceptance testing on low and medium voltage distribution equipment, commissioning of protection and control systems, SCADA/RTU communications programming, performing in-service checks upon energization, functional testing of auto restoration schemes and troubleshooting services once a system is on line.

AET has also designed and assembled protective relay and communications control panels. With our in house engineering, wireman and technicians, AET can design, build and commission this equipment prior to arriving on site reducing costly on site commissioning activities.
Once the renewable energy assets are in service, AET can assist owners and O&M groups with maintenance and testing plans specific to site and customer needs.
